McIntosh Trail publishes 2010 annual report

JACKSON, Ga.—McIntosh Trail Early Childhood Development Council Inc., an agency that provides child education and heatlh services to low-income families in North Central Georgia, has released its annual report for 2010.
The agency, headquartered in Jackson, received $6.6 million in funding from federal, state, and in-kind sources during fiscal year 2010.
The Head Start program served 560 children and 514 families last year in the seven counties.
McIntosh Trail operates Head Start, Early Head Start, and Pre-Kindergarten services for more than 700 infants, toddlers, and preschoolers in Butts, Newton, Henry, Spalding, Lamar, Pike and Upson counties.
